Google Cardboard VR No Longer Supported by exchangecity.ru
We are officially ending support for Google Cardboard. The consumer VR space has grown more than we ever hoped for, with rapidly developing display and tracking technologies that have made very-high quality virtual reality experiences accessible to even the most budget-conscious users.
Now that most users can access higher-quality content with affordable VR headsets like the Oculus Quest 2, we will stop updating the SLR app on the Cardboard platform. Version 10.1 will be the final version for Cardboard users. The app will continue to function for now, but any future security, stability, and feature updates will not be accessible.
The app will cease functioning entirely in the future on January 1, 2022.
